The group stage from October 29th to November 30th will take place in Taiwan, China. The 16 teams from the LPL region have also revealed their final rankings in the 2022 World Championship Finals. This includes T1, DK, and DRX.

Based on the results of the matches, these four matches have their differences in the World Finals:

[Elimination] RNG: 1st match against C9, 2nd match against FPX, 3rd match against EDG, 4th match against AWM, 5th match against HOK.G, 6th match against ROZ, 7th match against WBG.

[Advancement Rules]

In the 12 to 4 stage, RNG received 3 points and advanced to the elimination round.

In the 8 to 2 stage, RNG received 0 points and advanced to the loser’s bracket finals.

In the case of 10 consecutive wins or 0 losses, RNG received 1 point and advanced to the loser’s bracket.

After 6 victories, RNG will advance to the mid-season tournament stage.

If players use the international server or PC devices, they will directly advance to the quarterfinals rather than entering the postseason stage separately.

If players from the Americas use mobile devices, they will advance to the US West region instead of the European region qualifiers.

If players from the Japanese region use mobile devices, they will advance to the US East region instead of the Southeast Asian region.
